Québec Education Savings Incentive Now Offered
Renaissance Investments is pleased to offer the Québec education savings incentive (QESI) to eligible Renaissance Investments Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) accounts. As a provider of the QESI, Renaissance Investments will apply for the basic and additional tax credits under this incentive with Revenu Québec for contributions in your RESP account.
For current clients, we will begin applying for the QESI with Revenu Québec, for contributions made since February 21, 2007, in Spring 2010, and, if eligible, you may start receiving the incentives by mid-2010. We will send you a confirmation when the grants are received into your RESP account. QESI grants will be invested in the Renaissance Money Market Fund when received, at which point you may wish to contact your financial advisor to discuss investment options that are right for you.
